## Technical Details

SmartScans perform the following checks, most of which are individually configurable: domain and MX record verification, SMTP verification, undeliverable address check, disposable address check, vulgar/inappropriate content check, suspicious content check, role-based address check, tag address check, free/business address check, and catch-all domain check.

FormDefender Enhanced Mode adds an additional layer of protection against sophisticated bots by validating that new contacts have been appropriately vetted before they receive emails, and can quickly delete contacts that should not have been created.
